What AroSync Is
AroSync (web app at app.arosync.ai, and the AroSync Chrome extension) helps sellers copy product listings between eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and the AroSync catalog, and generate AI-assisted titles, descriptions, and product images.
What Data We Access
- eBay and Facebook Marketplace listing pages:when you click an AroSync button on an eBay listing page, the extension reads that page's visible content (title, price, photos, description, condition) to copy it into a new listing. On Facebook Marketplace's listing creation page, it fills in the form fields with the product data you staged. The extension does not read any other page content, and does not run on pages other than eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and app.arosync.ai.
- Account & usage data: your AroSync account email, the products you import, and basic usage counts (e.g. number of AI generations) are stored in our database to run your account and enforce plan limits.
- Images you submit: product photos you choose to enhance or use for AI image generation are sent to our AI processing providers (Anthropic, fal.ai) solely to generate the requested output, and are not used to train their models on our behalf beyond their standard API terms.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not read or collect browsing activity outside of eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and app.arosync.ai.
- The extension never publishes or submits anything on your behalf automatically — it only fills in forms for you to review and submit yourself.
Data Storage
Account and product data is stored with Supabase. Locally, the Chrome extension uses browser storage (chrome.storage.local) only to temporarily hold the product you're currently copying between eBay and Facebook Marketplace, and your sign-in token.
